Now that we are officially in September, it's time to stock up on new season staples. My very fashionable phrase for enabling me to go on an a/w spree. Winter is coming yo! (Game of Thrones references for the win). After blitzing the shit out of my wardrobe and packing half it on eBay, I'm now in definite need of some new staple buys - and clothes to actually err wear.
Grey, creams and rich cranberry tones are clearly the serving of the day, loving the ever simple burgundy and white French Connection blouse, so basic but so versatile. Putting my best foot forward in what seems to be every pointy-flat available on the high-street seems to be my latest obsession, say hello to the Zara pointed offerings for a steal of £19! Also coming up trumps in the knitwear department, Zara's grey v-neck jumper is a pricey investment but seriously worth it. I'm mentally pairing it with my trusty black skinnies and the two H&M statement necklaces that have caught my eye too. Last but not least is the beautiful trench coat from French Connection, my battered Topshop one has finally bit the dust and this cream classic offering is calling my name. Roll on payday, yes sir re.
