With the bout of hot weather we were graced with (which has now coincidentally passed in time for the bank hol) my skin has really struggled with dryness and was in certain need of a little TLC. Coming up trumps and saving the day were my little line up of beauty saviours, which nourished my skin back to a silky smooth state. Without further ado, let me introduce my current skin and body care favourites...
Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask - John Lewis (£22.00)
Ren Hydra-Calm Protection Day Cream - John Lewis (£27.00)
Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask - A staple in my beauty stash, this tropical fragranced mask is a godsend for tired overworked skin. Layering a fine dollop over your face after moisturising before bed, the Origins mask is literally quenches the skins thirst for moisture. Waking up with plump, silky soft skin I look like I've slept for days!
Ren Hydra-Calm Protection Day Cream - Aimed at sensitive skins and protecting against free radicals - neither of which I have or am that bothered about (shh), I could simply shout from the roof tops how much this moisturiser makes my skin so soft, day after day. A pricey investment, but worth it all the same. My skin longed for this product after I switched to something more affordable. The proof is always in the pudding.
Jergens Skin Firming Body Cream - Superdrug (£3.32)
Vaseline Cocoa Radiant - Superdrug (£2.33)
Jergen's Skin Firming Moisturiser - Whilst I don't believe that any cream can firm your wobbly bits, I will certainly repurchase any lotion that can leave your skin feeling hydrated the day after application - and you guessed it, exactly what the Jergen moisturiser serves up. A lightweight, easy to apply cream that instantly sinks in, it ticks every beauty need - with a lightly fragranced holiday smelling whiff - I'm sold.
Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Body Oil - I totally bought this on a whim, and yes whilst I may slip and slide around in my PJ this works WONDERS on newly shaved pins. It leaves my legs feeling glowy (not shiny), with no icky residue but really, really nourished. A pampering treat for under a £5 you really can't go wrong, this will certainly be a staple during the winter months. GO BUY.
Have you tried any of these products?
