River Island A/W

In the summer I had the pleasure of attending the River Island A/W press-day, where I sussed out this season's collection and basically swooned over most items. Dark and gothic seems to be the order of the day, with glam and luxe material and edges, i fell instantly in love with the collection..

River Island is a brand that has seriously come up trumps in the past couple of years, passing swiftly on from some of the awkward embellished teen pieces, River Island is a treasure chest of on-trend key pieces. Not afraid to push the boat out, River Island really does produce some cracking items each season that are worth investing in - plus their shoe department is something to be rivalled. Some of their items are definitely a tad too bold for my personal taste, but they do some fabulous feminine classic pieces that always catch my eye. A few pieces I definitely would mind stashing in my A/W wardrobe..
